Flow & Meditate: International Women's Day 2018

Description
Join us on this International Women's Day event as we flow and meditate on the mat to the beautiful tunes of the Indian classical flute.

This unique event will bring together different modalities of movement, meditation, journaling and sharing circles to enable each individual to 1) recognise issues of inequality in our community 2) express our personal boundaries 3) be the change by enabling ourselves to perform manageable tasks to work towards gender parity. Together as a community, we can #PressForProgress if we #DareToAct as individuals.

Yoga stems from the Sanskrit root "yuj", which can be translated to "yoke". We can think of yoga as being in relationship with self, others and our environment - which can be fostered when compassion, love, authenticity and courage are present. We want to enable individuals to bring the lessons that we learn from the mat and into the world.

Early bird pricing of $25 will be available till 2359h on 25 February. Tickets will be priced at $30 thereafter.
Part of the proceeds will go into funding yoga programs for the at-risk communities in Singapore.

We hope to see you this on this special International Women's Day event as we flow, meditate and share our stories together as a community!
